Atlanta, Georgia is a rich melting pot of a number of sectors but to some, its strongest connotations are that of music and adult entertainment. In this segment, we bring to light some of the more overlooked genre of art in our inaugural installment of The Atlanta Project. Featuring artists and painters such as Peter Ferrari, Trey Moseley and Sam Parker, we delved upon what their perspectives are towards the ever-changing landscape in the world of creativity. What’s special about Atlanta’s art scene is its tightly-knitted community of artists that come from different practices. In this short clip, tattoo and graffiti artists such as Paper Frank and Brandon Sadler illustrate how the competition found in other areas can be the ultimate demise of that local scene, while the shared pool of knowledge found in Atlanta benefits not only the artists but the community as a whole.
